Downloadable statements

Here you can find all documents you’ll need when you register on location. You must hand in the printed and signed originals when you arrive.

If you’re over 18, you’ll need the ’Data protection and portrait statement’ and the ’Declaration of liability’ documents.

If you’re not yet 18, you’ll also need the ’Declaration of parental liability’ as well. These declarations differ between Base and Junior events, please double-check which one pertains to you or your child.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OUR RACERS

Before applying for a race, be sure to ask your veterinary to check whether your dog is suitable for sports.

  • If your dog does not get along with other dogs or shows signs of aggression, put a muzzle on them.
  • If you feel that an obstacle is too tricky or risky, go around it instead. The rules of competition allow for this. You can “pay” for the obstacle by doing squats. Don’t forget that you’re responsible for your own dog, you’re the one that knows them best, you’re the one who needs to recognise if an obstacle proves too difficult.
  • Prepare for the race with your dog. Although a 6 km distance is not a marathon (nor is 12 km), but the word “victory” is part of our slogan for a reason. You’ll face a challenge which, if you manage to complete, you’ll be feeling rightfully proud of yourselves. This is especially true for the HDR Wild event.
  • If you’re a parent, please think it through before you let your child apply. You’re responsible for both them and the dog they’re taking along. We don’t want to discourage you, but in order to ensure that they are enriched by the experience, you must be aware of the following:
    • The child’s physical aptitude
    • The dog’s physical and mental states
    • The harmony between the dog and the child
  • If there’s less than 2 hours left until your start, don’t eat or feed your dog.
  • Since you must be at the starting gate 15 minutes before your start, make good use of your time and limber up. You’ll need it.
  • If you feel that an obstacle is too tricky or risky, go around it instead. The rules of competition allow for this. You can “pay” for the obstacle by doing 30 squats. Don’t forget that you’re responsible for your own dog, you’re the one that knows them best, you’re the one who needs to recognise if an obstacle proves too difficult.
  • Help your dog! You may help them pass any of the obstacles, you may even pick them up. Make sure you read the relevant part of the Rules of Competition if you haven’t already.
  • We adhere to the Rules of Competition and basic principles of ethics, make sure you do too.
  • Pay attention to the other racers and their dogs, not just yourselves. You’re not the only ones on the track.
  • If someone needs assistance, give them a helping hand! It could be a small thing for you, but it could mean the world for someone who’s in trouble.
  • Observe the rules of fair play while racing. No victory, not even first place is worth compromising your integrity.
  • Do not litter! Please observe this rule in all areas of the event. Throw all waste in the dedicated bins.
  • We know full well you clean up after your dog, but in case you see someone who doesn’t, give them a baggie. After all, you carry one at all times.
  • Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas.
